Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global counterparts in Enterprise Systems, Trading Infrastructure, Trading Operations, and Trading teams to oversee the Virtual Infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Take charge of the Virtual Infrastructure and its associated components with a focus on performance and stability
  • Design, deploy, maintain, and monitor tailor-made virtualization and storage solutions utilizing contemporary technologies
  • Oversee the U.S. Virtual enterprise environment, including OS/application patching, security vulnerability mitigation, and disaster preparedness
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors and industry contacts to ensure Flow Traders remains at the forefront of enterprise technology

Requirements for Success:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Proficient communication skills to convey complex solutions to various audiences
  • Ability for creative problem-solving for intricate issues
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, with a preference for Python
  • Previous experience with VMware operations automation and monitoring solutions is highly valued
  • Preferred hardware knowledge of ESXi hosts, such as Lenovo M5, SR620, SR650, Dell740

As per the NYC salary transparency law, the total compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000, plus annual discretionary variable remuneration.
