Responsibilities:
As the Senior Director of Corporate Development and Ventures at Circle, you will collaborate with leadership, product, engineering, and revenue teams to steer strategic decisions and high-impact opportunities across the organization. Your pivotal role will involve:
- Distilling valuable insights, deals, and strategic alignment from various sources to support our key objectives.
- Providing sound business counsel to guide leadership in making informed decisions.
- Driving top-notch deal execution, due diligence, and integration efforts to align with organizational goals.
- Monitoring and evaluating deal outcomes to report progress, ensuring continuous improvement.
Key Focus Areas:
- Foster a deep understanding of market landscapes and trends, especially in financial services, tech, and crypto industries, with a keen eye on emerging global markets.
- Cultivate networks with internal and external stakeholders, uncovering partnership, investment, and acquisition prospects.
- Lead due diligence initiatives in collaboration with internal and external contributors.
- Coordinate diverse teams within the company to drive strategic decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive business and integration plans for prospective acquisitions.

Requirements:
- 12+ years of relevant experience encompassing corporate development, M&A, venture investment, and consulting, ideally in corporate or financial institutions.
- 5+ years of internal corporate deal experience focusing on international markets and intricate deal structures.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, coupled with high motivation and intellectual curiosity.
- Capability to foster relationships, lead projects, and manage opportunities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Proficiency in industry assessment, trend analysis, and strategic articulation of key drivers.
- Extensive hands-on experience in client interactions, M&A, financial analysis, and deal execution.
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, MacOS, and GSuite.
- Undergraduate degree required; advanced degrees like an MBA are advantageous.
Additional Details:
- This position offers PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates upon hire.
- Compensation packages are comprehensive, considering multiple factors including experience, skills, and organizational requirements.
- Compensation Details: Base Pay Range - $195,000 to $252,500, Annual Bonus Target - 20%, including Equity & Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
