Role Overview At Aptos, we are committed to addressing the core challenges faced by developers in Web3 to facilitate their success. The product infrastructure team plays a key role in understanding technical limitations and gaps to develop infrastructure products that cater to the needs of the entire Aptos ecosystem. As part of this role, you will collaborate with product teams to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly backend services. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shape and build a cloud platform to empower applications on Aptos, including data APIs, high-throughput blockchain services, identity management, and more.

This position is based in our Palo Alto, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, reliable services to onboard millions of users onto Web3 and Aptos
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to scale initiatives
  • Ensure reliability and quality of all externally facing technical components
  • Establish and uphold high-quality software engineering practices in an open-source project environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience building high-quality code and infrastructure
  • Proficiency in a low-level programming language such as Rust or C/C++
  • Experience with backend systems and scaling high throughput applications
  • Knowledge of building user-facing products
  • Familiarity with Python or Typescript
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, AWS, and GCS
  • Enthusiasm for enhancing infrastructure continuously

Salary The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $150k to $250k, dependent on experience and location. Our compensation is inclusive of equity, tokens, and benefits which add further value to your package.
