Trading Ops & Risk Systems Engineer (AI & Automation)

We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and technical skills to drive the enhancement of our trading infrastructure. This unique position blends the responsibilities of a Trading Operations Specialist, a Risk Manager, and an AI-focused Developer.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operational tasks, risk monitoring, and lead the digital transformation of these functions. You will utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and advanced scripting to automate manual processes, enhance risk modeling, and develop real-time P&L visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trading Operations and P&L Analysis with AI

• Manage trade lifecycles across various asset classes, utilizing Python (ML) and MLOps tools to automate operations and reconciliations.
• Conduct daily P&L analysis, attributing variances and leveraging AI/ML frameworks for anomaly detection and automated commentary in P&L reports.
• Ensure data accuracy across trading systems and financial ledgers.

1. Risk Monitoring & Control

• Develop AI-driven risk models for real-time risk management and predictive market volatility alerts.
• Create and maintain advanced risk reporting dashboards for the trading desk.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in front-office operations, quant development, or a combination of risk management and systems architecture within financial institutions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (AI/ML) and strong SQL abilities. Experience in developing AI workflows is advantageous.
• Financial Knowledge: In-depth understanding of P&L attribution, financial controls, market risk indicators, and financial markets.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to approach manual tasks with a focus on automation.
• Capacity: Comfortable with high-intensity work environments and extended work hours to meet trading demands.
• Agility: Willingness to participate in rotational weekend shifts and provide on-call support for live production issues.
