Technical Skills:

  • Engage in task breakdowns, estimation, design, implementation, and maintenance of Wealth & Assets Management systems.
  • Follow engineering standards, practices, and review, test, and document code accordingly.
  • Solve complex problems effectively and innovate practical solutions, all while engaging in code reviews for team cohesion.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Participate in team projects and consistently deliver small to medium-sized features.
  • Promote testing culture and address tech debt, while also tackling moderately complex engineering challenges in collaboration with senior engineers.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Share knowledge across the team to prevent reliance on a single individual.
  • Foster collaboration within Wealth & Assets Management Solutions team and other divisions at Anchorage Digital.

Communication and Influence:

  • Contribute to sprint planning and task estimation, actively problem-solving within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse individuals, leveraging different perspectives and expertise levels.

If you possess the following qualifications, you may be the ideal candidate for this role:

  • Experience in building sophisticated distributed systems, predominantly using Go, or willingness to learn new languages.
  • Prioritize user experience, business value, code quality, and solid test infrastructure.
  • Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Strong belief in teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship within the software engineering realm.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in GraphQL and gRPC API design and implementation or backgrounds in the finance industry will be considered favorably.
