About the Role
We are in search of an Acquisitions Analyst to provide support to the Groma acquisitions team in transaction activities at the deal and partnership levels, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. The role involves strategic involvement in acquisitions team operations as well as day-to-day operational tasks. The Acquisitions Analyst's primary responsibilities include conducting economic analyses on real estate investment properties and presenting detailed investment recommendations. Additionally, they are expected to assist in interpreting complex business reports to aid in strategic decision-making by the investment team.
Job Functions
- Evaluate and analyze real estate acquisition and development opportunities, and offer investment recommendations.
- Serve as a real estate representative for Groma Realty by assisting affiliated buyers, such as the GromaREIT and other associated funds.
- Manage and improve acquisition tools like financial models, market research models, and due diligence workflow diagrams.
- Assist in various analytical and transactional tasks related to investments, including sourcing, due diligence, financing, negotiations, and closing procedures.
- Take charge of internal administrative duties like information gathering, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate across different departments to support business growth, including partnering with investor relations, legal, property operations, engineering, and accounting/finance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multifamily analysis or relevant real estate investment roles.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in real estate financial modeling and data analysis using Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- MA Real Estate Salesperson License would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to network effectively within the Real Estate Industry.
- Proficient in data analysis with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized with prioritization abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets.
