Job Summary: Bitcoin Depot is in search of a professional for the role of an Accounting Director to support the company's growth. This individual will collaborate closely with the Accounting team to enhance processes, define accounting policies, and facilitate audits. The role is fully remote.

Bitcoin Depot is recognized as the largest Bitcoin ATM Network globally, enabling users to buy and sell Bitcoin conveniently at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee month-end closing procedures
  • Conduct detailed data analysis for account reconciliations
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual audit processes in liaison with the Controller
  • Supervise multiple direct reports
  • Ensure financial reports comply with US GAAP and SOX standards
  • Address monthly budget discrepancies in coordination with the finance department

Requirements:

  • 7 years+ of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity within a public company
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CPA License
  • Hands-on experience with month-end closures
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Prior management involvement
