Summary:
Jito Labs is on the lookout for a skilled senior engineer to contribute to the development of MEV and block building on Solana. We need a resourceful and driven engineer adept at tackling complex design challenges and finding efficient solutions. This role promises an exciting environment suitable for those who enjoy troubleshooting in-depth technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Delve deeply into MEV and on-chain trading within the Solana network to comprehend transaction flow thoroughly.
Collaborate with the team and clients to implement advanced, high-performance features.
Lead feature development from start to finish, including architecture design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical problems across various layers of development.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in systems programming with proficiency in Rust, C, or C++.
Knowledgeable in low latency, high-performance, and high reliability programming techniques.
Hands-on experience in shipping software continuously and contributing to daily production releases.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Capable and enthusiastic about tackling complex problems and utilizing debugging tools like valgrind and gdb.
Ability to strike a balance between engineering efforts and delivering high-quality solutions.
Previous involvement in a small startup environment with less than 50 personnel.
Possess an entrepreneurial outlook and understand the intersection of business and engineering.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with managing blockchain infrastructure.
Previous involvement in building or operating MEV bots or trading bots on EVM, SVM, or CEX platforms.
Experience with high-frequency trading strategies.
