The Engineering Team

Chainlink Labs' engineering team is at the forefront of advancing decentralized applications in the industry. It is responsible for maintaining a >70% market share in the oracle space, enabling smart contracts to securely interact with off-chain data and computation to solve real-world challenges.

We are actively expanding our core engineering teams, including those involved in the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Blockchain Integrations, and projects related to VRF and Capital Markets.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of professional engineering experience in a collaborative, product-driven environment

Advanced proficiency in key languages such as Golang, Typescript, Solidity, or Rust

Enthusiasm for blockchain, web3, and related decentralized technologies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals

Comfortable working remotely as part of a globally distributed team operating across different time zones

Preferred Requirements

Experience in project progress communication, dependency management, and risk mitigation with stakeholders

Background in blockchain and Web 3.0 technologies as a developer

Contribution to the open-source community

Responsibilities: We are seeking a Product Manager to spearhead the development of our Crypto capital markets platform within the Liquidity team. This crucial role involves collaborating extensively with various stakeholders throughout the company to navigate regulatory frameworks, address operational requirements, and identify essential features needed to devise a long-term strategy for a platform that can enhance operational efficiencies, accommodate growing transaction volumes, and support market expansion. Successful candidates will excel at setting a clear product vision, fostering alignment across business functions, and prioritizing efforts ruthlessly to maximize impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulating and managing the product vision, features, and roadmap to cater to customers' global capital markets and lending needs.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams at Circle to understand customer pain points, share new product insights, communicate product strategies, and ensure progress remains unhindered.

Evaluating business risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, utilizing tools and monitoring mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed.

Engaging with liquidity partners to comprehend their requirements, translating capital demands into actionable strategies, product features, and roadmaps.

Overseeing multiple concurrent projects alongside the engineering team, ensuring timely delivery of product features.

Identifying and prioritizing enhancements that optimize success for our liquidity and distribution partners utilizing our stablecoin offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Over a decade of product management experience with proven track record of launching successful customer-facing products in capital markets settings.

Proficiency in steering product strategy for multifaceted commercial products, including risk identification and management.

Mentorship experience with other product managers, adept at influencing and collaborating with partners and executives to drive results.

In-depth knowledge of capital markets, lending, treasury management, or regulated financial services, preferably with a technical background in global product development.

Enthusiasm for financial services rooted in crypto assets and blockchain technology, coupled with sharp analytical capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to oversee end-to-end execution of complex product initiatives, sustaining revenue growth over time.

Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across the board.

Proficiency in remote work environments, adept at working with teams spanning multiple time zones, and well-versed in tools like Slack and GSuite.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of backend infrastructure for our developer platform and APIs, shaping the team's execution against this vision.

Architect, construct, and manage highly scalable and dependable infrastructure, APIs, and services.

Participate in system design discussions, stand-ups, and code reviews to drive best practices for backend infrastructure, emphasizing throughput, reliability, and latency.

Troubleshoot production issues across services and various stack levels.

Engage with engineers, product managers, and designers to promote a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.

Proficient in designing, building, and scaling core backend components, with experience in API platforms being a plus.

Skilled in resolving intricate design, performance, and scalability issues in high-throughput, low-latency systems.

Hands-on experience in Java, Golang, or C++ in a production environment.

Familiarity with Cloud Native ecosystems, particularly AWS.

Experience with managed Kubernetes layers like AWS EKS is beneficial.

Demonstrates a proactive and independent approach to task execution.

Capable of balancing quality with timely delivery.

Additional Details:

Alchemy offers competitive compensation including base salary and equity, along with comprehensive healthcare coverage, 401k, and unlimited flexible time off. The salary range for this role is estimated between $135,000 to $350,000 annually based on relevant factors like experience, skill set, and qualifications.

We’re looking for a Head of Technical Program Manager to own and grow Optimism’s core development program. This individual will be responsible for stewarding development of the OP Stack by coordinating between high-caliber engineering organizations across the Collective. This role requires a unique blend of engineering leadership, technical expertise, and open source management skills. 
What are the role responsibilities?
Oversee our strategic initiatives with precision by setting clear objectives, aligning team efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination between functions
Ensure delivery by managing the implementation process, maintaining roadmaps, and removing blockers without sacrificing quality or burning out the team
Be a central conduit for information, ensuring messages flow smoothly between OP Labs, core developers, and the Optimism Foundation
Set an example for how OP Labs collaborates, both internally and with the Foundation/core developers
What skills do you bring?
Experience coordinating and delivering complex large-scale software projects. Maybe you’ve worked as a principal engineer, engineering manager, CTO, or technical program manager
Strong technical background with a solid understanding of web3 software development, blockchain platforms, and system design
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
Experience with core development processes or open source software maintenance is a plus, but not required

We’re looking for an experienced product leader to drive growth and development of our Superchain ecosystem. Today, the Superchain consists of >$12B in assets and >4M transactions per day, with more L2s built using OP Stack than any other provider. Success for this role is growing the Superchain to $1T in assets, 100M onchain users, and hundreds of millions of daily transactions.
The Superchain is a marketplace of users and developers and we expect it to be both the best user and developer experiences in crypto. This leader will have ownership of both. In particular, this role will own the developer products and programs needed to bring the next-generation of crypto apps to life.

Build the best user and developer experiences in crypto
Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap to grow the Superchain to $1T in assets and 100M users
Build and manage a team of PMs to achieve the Superchain vision

10+ years experience leading growth-oriented and/or marketplace products
Proven track record of working in ambiguous, developing product spaces and winning
Deep strategic thinking and experience igniting flywheels
