Responsibilities:

Security Architecture and System Design:

Design and deploy robust cloud security frameworks across diverse environments to safeguard company data and infrastructure.

Develop secure cloud architectures and solutions tailored to business needs and regulatory standards.

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

Monitor cloud environments for security issues and vulnerabilities utilizing a variety of tools and services.

Lead responses to security breaches and cybersecurity incidents, conducting detailed post-incident analysis to mitigate future risks.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS across all cloud platforms.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, proposing enhancements to bolster security measures.

Identity and Access Management:

Manage and configure identity and access management (IAM) systems to enforce appropriate access controls for all cloud services.

Implement and maintain authentication protocols, authorization mechanisms, and security policies for cloud-based applications.

Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Leverage automation tools like Terraform to systematically deploy secure infrastructures.

Implement security as code to seamlessly embed security measures into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration and Advisory:

Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to integrate security controls into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Advise and train team members on cloud security best practices, toolsets, and procedural frameworks.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cloud security role, demonstrating expertise in designing and managing secure cloud environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Profound understanding of cloud computing technologies and challenges related to workload transitions.

Familiarity with security standards and frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001.

Proficiency in cloud service provider tools and technologies for securing cloud environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities.

Excellent communication skills and aptitude for collaborative work across various departments.
