ROLE SUMMARY: The Mining Technician role at Foundry offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be part of our team. Foundry, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, the most prominent leader in blockchain investment, is seeking a Mining Technician to support the Mining Operations team under the guidance of the Site Operations Manager. Responsibilities of this multifaceted role include assisting in the deployment, maintenance, and management of crypto mining equipment in data center environments.

ELIGIBILITY: This role is available for candidates interested in on-site positions at physical locations within the United States.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Assist the Mining Operations team and oversee in-house crypto mining activities.
  • Deploy new crypto mining units at data centers.
  • Maintain the current fleet of crypto mining machines in operational condition through repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the Operations team for shipping and receiving of equipment.
  • Document inventory of equipment and spare parts.
  • Perform general site maintenance tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven background in computer hardware operations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with goal-oriented mindset.
